Brian Llewelyn was born and bred in the Preseli Hills, Fron, Llan Y Cefn or Llancewn as we pronounce it,  not far from Maenclochog, North Pembrokeshire. Country life has been his breeding and his life, though he did not go into farming, he has and always been involved in farming.

Brian Llewelyn a'i Ferched started in 1976, and now we are in our 31st year, as luck may have it, he was fortunate to only have 3 daughters. Welsh is our first language and "Ferched" means daughters in Welsh.

We are a family business in the true meaning of the word, Brian is the founder of the business, Rhian the eldest daughter runs the Petrol station and convenience store, Hafwen runs the "Tafarn Sinc" pub / restaurant & Sian the youngest runs the Agricultural side of the business. Their husbands all work in the business and are highly involved in all aspects of the  businesses, and now the third generation of the Llewelyn's have joined the business, Robert on the Mechanics side for the ATV's and Garden Machinery & Steffan on the sales in the agricultural side.

Brian Llewelyn's vision back in 1976 was to be able to supply everything you may need in the rural country side, 31 years on ...... we think he might have succeeded. We are old fashioned in our way, is that a bad thing? in our opinion, No. When you make the enquire, most probably the person you discussed your enquire with, will be the person who delivers also. No we do not have an automated service where you press 1,2,3,4 ...5 and still get no where, when you ring us a human will answer, and most probably that human will be able to answer all the questions you have got. We believe in human contact and most importantly personal contact, to us the customer is, and always will be the most important person, because without you, we would not be here.
